President

VERONCIA Doleman - Veronica has lived in Fort McMurray since she was 10 years old. She recently completed her Bachelor of Education. She also has a background in Early Childhood Education. Veronica loves the volunteer sector in Fort McMurray and is continuously impressed by how much "Fort McMurrayites" give back to their community. Fort McMurray is a wonderful place to have grown up and she can't wait to raise her own family here.

Vice President 

JOHN Evans - John is President and General Manager of UBS Canada, a supplier of specialized access and hoisting services here in Fort McMurray.   He hails originally from Halifax and is now proud to call Fort McMurray home for himself, his wife Denise, and 2 of their sons: Liam and Kristopher.  John actively contributes to a number local foundations including: the United Way, the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce, Keyano College Athletics and, Careers-The Next Generation.

KRISTINE Baans    -  Kristine joins our Board of Directors bringing considerable expertise in accounting  and an appreciation for financial planning and responsibility.   Her Business Degree and CGA Designation attest to this. Fort McMurray has been home to Kristine for over 35 years. She is happy to be  "making a difference" with her involvement with The Club.                                                 .

Secretary

CATHY Baker-Morrell - In addition to her role with The Club, Cathy works as Senior Mentoring Coordinator for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wood Buffalo. Her long standing commitment to the community and in particular to our children makes her a most valuable asset.

LISA Avery - Lisa has lived in Fort McMurray for over 30 years. She is a site administrator with Casman Construction Group and likes to volunteer because it makes her feel like she is giving something back to the people of Fort McMurray. bod@fmbgc.ca

SALEM Al-Ahmad - Salem is Fort McMurray born and raised.  Having achieved a degree in Commerce, and now working as Mobile Account Manager for RBC:  Salem brings not only valuable financial experience but also fresh young perspective on the future of FMBGC. His own positive childhood experiences with The Club makes his involvement with us, the perfect vehicle for him to "give back" to the community.

LYNN Rhoddy - Originally hailing from the Annapolis Valley NS, Lynn and her daughter began their love affair with Fort McMurray almost a decade ago. She has extensive experience in the field of Restorative Justice and is actively engaged in a number of community stakeholder groups working in the areas of family violence, crime reduction and youth justice.  She is currently enrolled at Keyano/Mount Royal completing a certificate in Non Profit Management.
